What's inside
Every ingredient on this pack is on the label, in the order it appears by weight. Nothing else.
How it's made
Grain selection
Whole grains and pulse selected for compatibility — they cook to similar tenderness in the same time window.
Cracking
Mechanically cracked to a uniform medium grade. Fine enough to absorb water, coarse enough to retain texture.
Blending
Blended in tested ratios that balance taste, cook time, and glycaemic response.
Lab testing
Final blend tested for GI, fibre, and protein content. Each batch traceable to its source grains.
Why this product
Built for khichri.
Most dalia is single-grain wheat. Ours adds barley, oats, and moong — turning a simple comfort meal into a complete low-GI plate with protein and fibre balance.
GI 45, low and comforting.
Slow-cooked khichri made with this blend stays within a low-GI range, even when eaten as a one-bowl meal.
Cooks in 25 minutes.
Traditional khichri texture without the long cook time of pure barley or millet dalias.
Frequently asked
Is this savoury khichri only or can I make sweet dalia too?
+Both work. The blend is neutral enough for sweet milk dalia and savoury khichri. Adjust water and cook time to taste.
How does this differ from regular wheat dalia?
+Regular wheat dalia is a single grain. Ours combines four grains and a pulse, giving more fibre, more protein, and a lower GI.
Is this suitable for elderly people with chewing difficulty?
+Yes. Cooked an extra 5 to 10 minutes, the dalia softens to a porridge-like texture that is easy to eat.
Can I pressure cook this?
+Yes. 3 to 4 whistles on medium with 1:3 grain-to-water ratio gives a well-cooked khichri texture.
